Before leaving the clinic
Confirm how to manage discomfort, which medicines to use or avoid, how to clean the area, what to eat, and when to return. Ask for a contact method for concerns and for any sedation-specific restrictions.
Do not wait for routine review
Seek prompt advice for worsening pain, increasing swelling, fever, an unexpected bite change, or a loose restoration. Difficulty breathing or swallowing, rapidly spreading swelling, or uncontrolled bleeding requires urgent assessment.
